Im not sure how many of you are familar with the nurburgring but its a 5.14 kilometer (3.2 miles) raceway in germany where formula one and other supercars go to test their skills. It is open to the public and if your up late you can catch some glimpces of some nice cars.

My coworker is there either this week or next week and will be driving on the track! thats really neat..ill have to check it out

Cruisin down the street in my Infiniti...always lookin for my next trip to Sin City
I'm definitely familiar with it, actually looking into driving on it sometime in the next year. But it's not 3 miles it's 13 miles, and 73 corners. Last I saw 1 lap was 16 Euros.

1999 Celica GT
Yep, it's 13 miles and you can get different tickets I think it is about 4 euro's for just one lap. It is an amazing track but there is very little run-off so if you mess up you REALLY mess up, lots of people are killed there every year. As it's a public road you get coaches driving round there too rolleyes.gif A quick lap time in a GT4 is about 10 minutes so you can imagine how testing it is.

1994 JDM ST205 WRC with 17" OZ Chrono's wearing 215/45/17 Eagle F1's. HKS Induction Kit, Blitz DV, Decat and full SS System, Blitz SBC-iD and Power Meter running at 1.12Bar = 17mpg and a lot of fun

Yup, although mainly bikers that are involved in fatal accidents.

I'd also suggest that a sorted ST205 should be significantly faster than 10 minutes. A transit van can get around in about 10 minutes 30 seconds.

Although, as an amateur, there is always rule one:
Never, ever time yourself. You will push too hard and crash.

JDM ST205Blitz Spec NUR Exhaust, somewhere over $1000Needing another one 18000 miles later, bloody annoying.
My mate went (turbojon) and I couldn't remember what time he said he got but I think it was 9 something and his isn't too far from standard (similar mods to me) which is why I said 10 as I didn't want to sound like a knobhead smile.gif

Cheers
