Recently i've built an informational website that is based off the 3S-GE Beams Redtop. I would like to put a 6G Celica Website banner on the webpage as ive used bits and pieces of information from your forums, and would like to link the banner to your forum.

Dont know if anyone has put BEAMS into a 5th gen before but I've done it (almost, damn wiring) so perhaps I could share some knowledge your way once my own new website is up and running!

defgeph - Im working on the BGB for the Beams. Im following a lead for the grey-top engine with the possibility of a manual being produced for that engine english. Then figuring out the differences between the 2 engines ( so far, just ECU tuning because the grey-tops run automatic trannies only).

If i cant get that info, i can go to my local toyota dealer and get the manual in japanese and slowly pay for the translation with the donations i get from the site. Course, im looking at 10 bucks a page. Which i would start with stuff like timing belt and torque specs.

Wayno - I like your site, nice graphics. I on the other hand am horrible at graphics. Are you going to put a Beams section on your site? I know of nothing about the celicas except of course, the 5S-FE and 3S-GTE Engines. I can ask my buddy though who is located down under, he might know, they have more beams down there than most countries (except japan

Yeah buddy I was just going to have the writeup on my website of what process I went through! My current write-up is on OZ Celica under 5th generation if ya wanna check it out from a 5th gen Celica point of view. Still working out alot about this motor myself but yeah I can send some BEAMS graphics, titles etc your way if you want to spruce your site up a little more!

Phoenix, I'll work on the banner tomorrow or possibly this evening. Sorry for the slow reply but I've just been swamped lately.

And no, I don't really do any cross promotion with any other websites. I really should, but it's another thing I don't have a ton of time for.

thanks, no hurry Im leaving tonight for a 2 day MR2 Meet in the mountains here in Japan, so i wouldnt be able to get anything done on the site until monday.

you should look into advertising, having a scrolling banner isnt too hard to maintain. Im in good with the Admin Team on the MR2board.com if you need some help.

thanks guys for the comments on the site, its a work in progress and if you feel like sharing personal engine specs (if you have a beams), please feel free to do so in the forums so others can learn more about the beams.

Im working with a few people from australia and new zealand who are owners to get more information so if you have any, feel free to let us know.

Its a community site and without the community, the information wont get collected and displayed.

Actually, no...to be fair we couldn't allow that. We haven't allowed others to in the past and we need to be consistent.

A link would be fine though.
