Hey guys, i was just checkin to see if anybody knew if our tranny's have bearings in them.. somthing went wrong with my car and the shop thinks i need a new tranny?? my car is driving just fine right now... they said the transmission bearings went out?? felt like my car just locked up on me while i was driving,, i stoped, and put it in neutral and tryed to push the car and it just locked up agian...came back about a hour later and the car drove but still made a funny noise up front?

yes they have bearings.

do you think the tranny needs replaced?

it could be any number of things from a bad part of the clutch system to ruined bearings. i cant say without knowing more about it.
