Topic #37674 3 posts Started by Speeder
Hello

I have just put D2Racing coilovers on my car. And i need to adjust my caster, camber and so on...

Do any of you have any angles to recomend? I want great cornering ability, but also be able too use the car for dayly driving. I will be using 205\50-15 TOYO R881 on the track, and 215\40-17 for dayly use.

Any toughts are welcome.

Best Regard
Tore

i'd say get as much tread touching the ground as possible!
There is only one way of doing thios correctly - simply asking other people is not it.

You need a tyre temp monitor. Set the camber to what you think is a good starting point and then go for a couple of laps. Into the pits and immediately check the tyre temp across the surface. The temp should be pretty much the same from the outside to the inside.
If the outside is much higher, this will indicate too little camber. The opposite applies.
And, each track will usually require different settings. When back on the road, use the factory settings otherwise you'll simply wear the tyres down quicker.
