Ok folks well heres the scoop, ive only owned the car for about a year now and it is a blast! but i have an investment that i MUST take that is forcing me to sell either the supra or the celica. so..... well.... the celica must go lol, too much $$ into the other car by comparison to think about getting rid of that one.. anyways for those that dont know about the car....

It has been successfully converted to AWD with all STOCK parts off a 1997 ST205 WRC!!! yes it has a WRC motor as well. I have put about 8 k miles total on the car since i got it. drivetrain is solid, motor is solid (3~5% leakdown on all cylinders) about 90k US miles on the motor (pulled @ 100k Kilometers in japan) i have replaced so many dang things on this car that it needed so i will try and list them all for you but im sure im missing some.. also comes with LOTS of spare parts and such... I DONT HAVE GOOD PICS YET !!! i WILL be taking LOTS of good pics after i clean up the interior this week and posting them here so please be patient, i just need to get the word out asap so im starting the thread with only a few miserable pics lol... anyways heres a list of mods/matienence

3rd gen 97 WRC motor/tranny
ST205 brakes (pads still good) (ABS removed)
ST205 front bumper (w/all grills and foglights not mounted yet) + turn signals of course
ST205 hood w/ all grills (i have a jdm hood latch not installed yet , hood closes as is tho)
17" TRUE Grahm lights (bronze) with brand new 225/40/17 summer tires + spare set of Blizzaks (3K miles)
3" downpipe (cat removed)
3" axle back exhaust (stock 2 1/4 mid pipe still in place)
apexi rev speed meter
apexi boost gauge
apexi S~AFC Tuned @ 11.5:1 A/F (dyno chart included with a/f printout) (265 AWHP SAE corrected 5400 ft)
CT20b turbo (stock)
HKS intake
Air/Water IC running all the time
Upgraded flexalite DUAL fans dual 12" smile.gif this sucka stays cool!!!
upgraded thicker stock style radiator
ACT Street disc and HD pressure plate (5 k miles)
Blitz SBCID boost controller
ST205 rear strut tower brace
ST205 WRC wing raiser blocks
ST205 superstrut suspension (HUGE grin)
GAB 4 way adjustable struts ($500 each for fronts .. not cheap)
TRD 25mm lowering springs (Brand new from TRD japan 2k miles ago)
custom mounted 10 gallon fuel cell (tank does not fit with rear end)
ST205 rear diff (LSD)
MINES ECU with upped boost cut + rpm cut... maps up to 1.6 bar i belive (ive hit 1.5 in higher gears)


Repair/Matenience

Rebuilt lifetime warranty front axles
Newer T~belt and W~Pump (15K miles or so)
Newer valve stem seals (15K miles as well)
New yellow top Optima battery
New clutch (as mentioned above) OEM toyota throw out bearing
ALL fluids flushed.. i mean ALL including rear diffy
Oil changed every 1K miles.. .im NOT kidding 1K miles, once it looks dark i change it.. same as my other car .. call me anal but hey it dont hurt smile.gif always run 5w30 sythetic blend Valvoline
tires as mentioned above
low milage figure of 8 links replaced in suspension (expensive.. and i have an extra one too)
Low milage lower bars and upper bars (have more in the garage too)
New motor mounts (2) that were bad

Spare parts

(1) figure of 8 link
(2) sets of lower bars ($450 each from fensport i think lol)
(2) front stock struts and springs (30k kilometers) same as parts above....

and im sure everyone wants to know... whats it run?? well keep in mind im @ 5400 elevation up in denver, our 1/4 mile times are about .50 ~ 1 sec slower than sea level times due to air restrictions lol.. anyways after the tuning as it sits...

if you cant get this car into the 12's @ sea level you need to learn how to drive smile.gif anyways thats my spill of the guts... all i ask guys is please put this to a good home, its a very rare car 1 of 2 or possibly 3 known to be converted.. it needs a little paint work but mechanically its 110% i guarentee. all work done by myself

o ya.. and its a 1994 car with 180,xxx miles on the chassi , the 4th gear synchro is a tiny bit grindy on the downshift too.. its nothing bad, has never gotton worse.


$11,000 FIRM (unless you have a CHEAP daily driver for trade in with the price)

ive got 5K+ into it plus i paid 10k + 1K shipping for the car itself.... not to mention the prior owner had more than 10k into it smile.gif thanks for looking

it DOES have A/C and it worked fine untill we pulled the motor/trans out for refreshing... now when you use it, the a/c light (on the button) flashes when you push it in... im not sure what i missed.... im sure its easily fixed since it did work just fine before that. proboby a wire or something?

well it is a lot of money... being that 11,000 is alot of money in general. but really, the money put into this car is WAY more than 10,000 itself, and the custom fab work and labor time. and all the new parts.... and considering the car itself in stock form would be worth a couple grand itself... id say its a bargain i bought it for 10k when it needed a SLEW of work only becuase this is the only LEGAL way to won an AWD 6th gen in the states. and i didnt want to do all the fab work myself.. including the wiring and all that mess... ya but anyways, more pics to come soon, i need to wash it and clean it up so everyone can see the real condition of the car, dont want to put up a dirty car for sale lol.

The AC is blinking out a code if you can count the flashes.
Usually the rubber/metal hose on the AC compressor splits & leaks.
I had the hose replaced, new refr put in and my AC worked again.

and to answer the other question, yes im in a huge hurry to sell it becuase of this investment i have to take advantage of, but this does not mean im gonna drop my pants on the price. i already have made the price fair for what i paid, what i put into it/labor time. and not to mention whats a half cut of a gt4 WRC cost??? gotta take into conisderation what the parts are worth just sitting under the car. anyways ill be back with pics asap...

dang, i was really looking forward to seeing this at the meet in a couple weeks . if its not sold by then i hope you can still bring it up with the supra. i actually think i saw your car in denver a couple weekends ago. saw a black 6g parked with gold wheels and gt-4 wing, and im sure theres not too many of those around in denver. if only i had the cash and wasnt it college... up for a trade? my car only has 51k miles, makes a great dd hey had to give it a shot best of luck with the sale. absolutely stunning car. just please dont sale it to some undeserving high school kid with rich parents.

man... i want your car. looks like it needs a lil tlc, and a back seat cuz i don't really need weight reduction, but all that can be fixed. what i really want is the 3sgte with the awd. i dunno... i'd totally pay $11k for this. problem is... i know its the easiest way to get a gt-four in the US, but exactly how "legal" is this car? especially in california where we don't like jdm engines and what-not.

well it passes emissions here BETTER than my 94 regular GT celica lol, i was looking at the levels that they test for and it passed with better margins lol... but ya the car is a clean us title and is a US car. just to clarify again this is NOT a real ST205 car. Its just ST205 parts swapped onto a US chassi.. so it is completly legal. ive never lived in cali, but im sure you would have no probs if you know how to work the system

ya and as far as a back seat goes... you can get one from a junkyard for probobly less than $100 or on ebay. i see them all the time
