Rubber Faded - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #37760 11 posts Started by Jaws4God
Hey guys, I just noticed today that the rubber seal that goes around the windshield, sunroof, and door windows is starting to fade. What have you all done to fix it?

Wasn't sure if you replaced it.. or painted it.. etc...?

Paint it. There's a lot of paints designed for rubber moldings.
I had mine painted, looks nice once it is painted
i was told to put peanut butter on it. i guess it puts oils back in the rubber,

yeah we have it here, doesn't seem to last very long though. need to redo it every other wash. Used it on my lass's corsa.
I used the Plastic Paint like Snap said... I am surpised that its still a little tacky... but maybe the rain today will wash off the excess or whatever...
