Me and my friends had been arguing over this for a while... WHAT THE HECK is McQueen? Is he a Dodge Charger? Or what *IS* he? In the preview, I saw the old school blue color Plymouth Super Bird that was driven by Richard Petty, the green colored one was an old school Monte Carlo... but what the heck is McQueen....

Someone please enlight me.

oh btw, do you know that the King Richard Petty, Michael Schumacher, Dale Jr, Darrell Waltrip, Mario Andretti, and Jay Leno are voiced in the movie? Just for that list of voice cast I can't wait to watch it hahaha

As it turns out, Lightning is no particular kind of car. "Due to aerodynamics, the shape of NASCAR cars is relatively flat," says Lasseter, "and not very interesting." Lasseter and his team designed McQueen as a hybrid between a stock car and a more curvaceous Le Mans endurance racer, says Lasseter, "with some Lola and some [Ford] GT40." Keen observers of the sport will note, however, that McQueen's rear spoiler is in "short-track" configuration — tall and upright — even though he's racing on superspeedways. (If you know this, you have pegged the Foxworthy meter: You might be a redneck.)

I wonder when it would open in my country? Need to check that.

By now I was planning to organise Import Cars spot on opening of F&F: Tokyo Drift, but I am still Celi-less and it will not change in next two months...

'94 ST202 - tuned, highly apprieciated, but sold.'99 ST205 - imported, legalized, Stage 1 completed. For slow driving: Yamaha XVS650 Drag Star. The most recent addition to the family and for the family: Toyota RAV4 2.0 VVTiCelica-ClubPoland-Everything you want to know about your favourite car ... in Polish
in the previews i seen just a glimpse of 3 cars with HUGE wings, looked like imports, like they were makin fun of em', lol.

Cuz Thats How Us Country Boyz RollGrowing up racing motocross, i learned one thing..."Always wear clean underwear, you never know when the Paramedics are gonna have to cut your pants off of you"
Its suppose to be about american cars - i havent noticed any imports in the commercials except a VW bus

just got back from seeing it, it was actually really good, i had a few good laughs
yes very cute movie. biggrin.gif i loved it.

YoungSurvival.Org-Celica traded for.. 350z.. traded for Mazda5.. soccer mom!
The humour was alright. I didn't really laugh much. However, the attention to detail and creativity is astuounding and worth the price of admission alone. This movie was obviously made by car lovers... it's just that the script could've been so much more instead of being watered down for kids. The biggest laugh came from the tractor tipping... I mean come on! I'm not five, and even if I was, that wouldn't have been amusing to me.

Still I walked away feeling like it was a cheesy ripoff of Doc Hollywood.
oh my gosh i loved this movie i can't wait to buy it on DVD.....great great movie...now its time to go tractor tippin!!!!
Just got back from it!

Finally saw the 7 spoilered import! I loved the XB! but thats cuz im a scion fan! lol!

anyways..it was a great movie. Really cute! I had a few tears rolling down my cheek!
