Well ive been wanting to do a 3sgte swap into my celica but mine is an st not a gt. I was basically wondering if anyone has swaped this motor into a st and if so what problems u ran into. Well if anyone could be of assistance it would be appreciated.

i have an mr2 motor in my ST. get an alltrac clip and you'll have pretty much everything. go with the mr2 clip and you need gt mounts, shift linkage, alltrac axles (with additional spacer)...thats all i remember right now but im sure there's more.

I have one in my 95, basically it depends on what tranny you go with. If you go with the gt tranny you will need all 4 gt motor mounts, the gt tranny, a 5sfe clutch disc, a 3sgte pressure plate and the axles. If you go with the mr2 or solara tranny you will need st205 motor mounts(same cost as the gt motor mounts just takes like 8 weeks to get here), the mr2 inner axles, the st185 outer axles, and a mr2 clutch kit. Plus you will also need throttle cable, gt power steering hoses and resevoir, and gt ac lines.
