you using tattoo goo or any thin on it?? it looks pretty faded considering how old it is. My friend has a tattoo on each wrist in full colour and quite a bit of detail and he uses tattoo goo every day on it at least once, and his tattoos look like they are not even 2 weeks old and hes had them for like 2 years.

i used vasaline lotion for like a month like i was told to then stopped. when i put lotion on it looks much better than that. but thats a good idea, i think i'll look into it. thanks

test the tattoo goo on a small part of skin first, some people break out with weird little bumps...it shouldn't mess up the tattoo since it's already way healed, but it may bother you to have red bumps on your skin...

That's cool, but why not get a deftones' themed tat? Instead of an exact copy of the album art? I think it'd be more worthwild for you as well as having a 1-of-a-kind piece of art on you! Just a thought.

Not if you treat them right, from the very beguinning! It also depends on the ink/artist; ie. how deep they go, strength of the ink, vibrance of the ink, etc.

Yeah, I knew what the Yakuza were, and I've seen that style of tats before, I've just never heard them referred to as Yakuza Tattoos. That's cool, I don't have any though. That's a lot of work man. I've got a japanese piece i'm working on currently, nothing that big though, just the size of my chest.

I like the album art, thats why Not saying your idea is bad, I just think this album art looks like a good idea for a tat, you can look at it and not know that it has to do with deftones at all. I think "band" tats aren't a good idea because who knows if you are going to like them in the future, its like getting a girls name tattooed on you.

Well I tried taking a picture via my cell phone of my design since im at work... as you can see it came out blury sooo I had my phone digitize it so make it crisp & clear woooo.

Its an A & an S merged together (my first & middle initials)









So that is pretty much how it will look...except it will just be black ink. If you don't like it ---> dont tell me LOL I'll be stuck with it not you! hehe.......

Anyway I have been doodling this little design for like 6+ years now & all these years I say this is what I would get if I ever got a tattoo...Sooo at least I have taken the time to think about it, right?!


I'm thinking about either putting it on my lower back, or ankle......maybe my upper back on my shoulder or somethin? I dunno! I don't know how big I want it to be either.

im gonna go out in about a month or so and gonna get another one with my gf. Shes getting a huming bird on her shoulder or neck and im gonna be gettin this on the back of my calf..


im gonna get it so that is just an out line but its coming out of the shadows kinda and only colour is gonna b the rose

*shrugs*...my first one cost $60 and comes with free touch ups for life. So if it fades alot, i can get it re-done for free. But im gonna go to a diff tattoo parlor cuz i wasnt happy with my first one, but im guessin probably $150ish...im doin it step by step. Im doin that one next, then after that im gettin a portrait of my grandparents from their wedding day. Hes been really sick lately so its gonna be a memorial for him.

*gulp* I did it I did it! Best part was I barely felt a thing, I was like your kidding me... my cat bites harder than this haha. So either that spot doesnt hurt when u get a tattoo ...or I have a higher than normal pain tolerance

seeing as there are a few people here that seem to have good taste in both cars AND body art...

this is a design i came up with a while back (in calculus, no less!) that's loosely based on an aztec pattern. (sorry for the cell phone pic, my sd card has gone awol)

i want to get it around my upper forearm or lower bicep...i just can't decide which woul look better. any suggestions?
