Both are correct, but the second is the best option. The first one is like christmas tree lights. If one bulb fails, all the other ones will fail as well

the first one won't work because the bulb isn't getting both currents IE: negative or a postive its only getting one....christmas lights still have 2 wires 1 pos. 1 neg

I used B on my fogs and it works fine.

A. is an example of series wiring.
B. is an example of parallel wiring.

Assuming those are lights in the first picture, either way will work, but as was mentioned before if one light burns out neither will work.

Series and parallel wiring is used all the time with speakers. Older christmas lights used series wiring and when one bulb would go out the entire string wouldn't light... needless to say the newer christmas lights don't use the same style of series wiring.

Either I want to split the sidemarker lights to wire up the side of the jdm headlights...

I would like to move the sidemarker lights to the side of the jdm headlights, shave the sidemarker area, and split the bumper blanker lights to wire up the jdm fender blankers..
