Hey guys and gals, i just thought i would let the WHOLE world know that i just got a job at the "W Dallas at Victory Park" being a valet. I cant wait, i start on wed and this hotel is no joke. I will hopefully have enough revenue to put a engine in my car!!! (**Stares at 3sgte picture**) . Just thought i would let everyone know that if you got some money to throw down because the hotels cheapest room is like 375 a night, bring it and i will valet your car! HAHA i love 6GC.NET!!!

I hear Valets make pretty good money, and working at an expensive place like that should help even more. Goodluck man, i think your gonna enjoy driving nice cars, even if it is just for a couple minutes.

1st day on the job i drove a Mercedes SL55 AMG!! I was astonished to feel what
500+ HP felt like! It was amazing! But anyways, you guys should come check
out the hotel if your from the area! Its supposedly the best hotel in the Texas.

ooh are you talking W hotel as in part of the Starwood Hotels?

I love their beds there. Im purchasing one of my own by end of the month! My two favorite hotels is the Westin and the W hotel

I always tip well when i valet my car at those hotels.

Yessir, It is owned by starwood and the Westin is a hotel that is owned by Starwood also. Atleast i now know that the beds are comfortable!

No need for sarcasim on this topic my friend.. Its not about driving the car around for 100 feet. Every car is differnet, and just the feeling of every car makes my day. If you love cars, its a GREAT job. If you dont really like cars, then its just another job. But im not going to lie..when i see a ferrari pull in the drive i get happy and smile. Even if i drive 100+ft, I love driving it even if it is other peoples car. Not to mention celebritys car and whatnot. Just today i drove Don Nelsons F-150 pickup and i must admit trucks are not my favorite but just knowing it was his car made it that much better. So please dont trash a good thread with crap like that. All it causes is hostility whithin a forum, and i apologize to anyone i offend with this reply, Thanks.

Is that needed? Sheesh some people just try and start things. I think its a pretty damn cool job to have. Id take getting paid rather well to simply drive fancy cars over retail or sitting behind a desk anyday. Especially at a young age, its a chance to have some fun. No need to spoil it with unwanted comments.

JFrost, you even posted AFTER i explained that it was a comment to Devilsden, and it was just saying that it wasn't my dream job. are you really that upset by my comment to someone else?

Enjoy your job, smile to every customers and not only Ferrari owner, one exception, HONDA, I have bias on this brand!!

After reading that, I found Valet is kinda professional.

I never heard a Valet could eligible to drive customer's car for a 1/4 mile race.

Just a friendly reminder:

Although, all the drive are in very short distance say 100 Feet, still need to be very cautious; as those car are hot=money=3S-GTE Swap

Great post man.. Like i said i just love cars!! Thanks for all the support...As for the 3sgte swap, im moving towards my goal of money to actually buy the clip and get it installed. Im making more money than i thought i would so hopefully (fingers crossed) i will have enough money by the end of July to have the swap done. And yes like you said being valet does make me a "professional" driver/parker , trust me i had to go through much tedious training to become a valet. Oh yeah BTW today i drove a RHD Nissan Skyline GT-R, It was sick man, Even though i knew the guy i have never driven his car. Thats all for now guys...

i got to valet park with a friend at a fancy italian wedding outside of boston once, i swear it was mafia lol it was all 50 year old italian guys and the man married a young lady in her twenties, but anyway it was awesome money and some nice cars. Nothing like what your getting but plenty of BMW's, Mercedes and Cadillacs


Funny story,

There was a BMW that i had to bring back for its owner, and when i unlocked the door the alarm went off and i freaked out jumped in the car and tried to shut it off, wouldn't work.. i tried to start it, no luck! by then the alarm had gone off but i couldn't open the door without it going off again. Finally a my friend who was the other valet came over got me out of the car and started it right up.

Turns out it was a stick shift and i was so nervous and anxious about getting the car back safe and quick that i didn't even notice! haha wow that was embarrasing, but when i finally got to drive it after realizing i was an idiot it was pretty nice. The clutch on that thing was sooooo smooth and grabbed real quick.
