GB: gauging interest for diamond clear turn signals for 94-95 bumper - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #38581 8 posts Started by brianforster
Ok guys, we all know how big of a deal this is, most of us end up going custom, staying stock, or painting the stocks, well i wanna know how many people would be interested in buying these, i know it would be quite a few, but im going to start to contact companies that make diamond clear turn signals for other cars and if i can tell them we have X amount of people who will pay up front for this product it will probably help them decide to make them.

me, i like the look of the pre-facelift bumper better, its just the 96+ bumper has more options (ssIII grill, diamondclear turns, lips, etc) and i wanna represent my 94-95 bumper because imo it just looks better wink.gif

I have no idea what price would be, but it cant possibly be that much, so put your name down if you are interested at all, so i can start making some phone calls.

another edit so people will know what im talking about , i am talking about these style turn signals :

well guess i can't see what they would look like before hand but as long as it ain't CRAZY as far as price goes i'm in!
This had been tried before many times, with no avail -- coomer (the admin) even had an email campaign setup here to try to get the large companies to make these clear turns -- no one wanted to do it. Good luck, and IF you happen somehow this goes through, I’d be interested in them if the price was right.

I've said it before & I'll say it again, if the diamond clear '94-'95 clear signals are made for a decent price, say $35 or less, I'm in...there really is no reason why they aren't already being made (I know they are, but they are a ridiculous price) and the average price for other cars' clear turns are like $25....

There's simply not enough demand. Our bumper year was only made for 2 years...that said, our car/bumper year is also 12-13yrs old -- procarparts even stoped selling the side-makers for 94-99 anymore.

I might be in, if the price is right, and they look good.
