I bought a celica about a month ago and it didn't come with Air Conditioning and i was wondering if that was common to any of your celica's?
NO A/C? - 6G Celicas Forums
No, most 6g celica's come with an a/c system. You car might have been stripped of it's a/c components or something.
some cars actually don't have a/c.
like my sister's for example, she owns a GT but didn't come with A/C.

It's nothing bad really, unless... you live in a place thats really hot. I have a black celica, leather inside as well. X_x everytime I enter my car after sitting in the sun, man its like being baked inside.
Yes in canada A/C was optionnal on GTs. Mine is fully equipped besides A/C but that doesn't really bother me...
oh wow... I didn't know that. I thought having AC is like having headlights in the car... a must have or something...

definitely need A/C in Vegas
i never use mine...well...it does get hott when u in traffic

Definitely! speaking about Vegas - I have a problem - after long run with A/C,
when I turn it suddenly off - the overflow gets overfilled and spills some coolant...
NO I do not have a blown headgasket or so - it is normal - sudden stop - flow of the
temp rises and so on. The thing is it is already 105+ in Vegas and will be wotse.
The overflow bottle in celica os real small - it has to be practically empty cold to handle
the situation - which leaves no reserve in case of a leak. My Honda has a smart feature -
a fan runs AFTER ignition is off is coolan gets too hot - real helps! Toyota should have
implemented similar and bigger overflow reservoir to boot (like Camry's).

Folks, I don't miss A/C much here... 2 weeks hot and 50 weeks rain, snow or just "not cold" weather...
