I was at a movie with a friend the other day and we saw "The Break Up." The best part of the movie was a black sixth gen. sighting towards the end I think. I yelled out "Celica!" and a bunch of people turned and stared for a second. The girl I was with kinda smacked me and kept watching.

Then, just a few minutes ago, I was watching some show about car safety on The Science Channel and at the end it showed a defensive driving school where people drove fifth and sixth gen. Celicas, complete with graphics and what sounded like exhaust systems.

I'm super bored so I thought I'd share.

thats awesome...i spotted a 6th gen on COPS. Some big guy was trying to bust the drivers side window out with a brick. LOL.

i saw The Break Up and didnt notice [i wasnt really paying attention to that movie in general]....will have to watch it again when it comes out on basic cable in like 10 years

ive seen a defensive driving school (on the west coast) that uses 6th and 7th gens...i wanted to go and when they go to give me a car i'll be like "nah dont worry, i already have one"

last celica I saw in a movie was "the Girl next door" there is a black one in the sence where he gets yanked out of school from the cheap film producer to go steal that rich producers "thing award" were the jocks are sitting on his ss, if you look in the background you can see it parked in the first spot

Coomer i did the same thing, we just went and saw the break up like 3 days ago, and you see the black convertible. I literally yelled celica, luckily there was only like 4 people in the theater.

I saw the Break Up, but after being dragged there by my girlfriend and having a large soda spilled in my lap by her at the start of the movie I didn't really pay attention to what was going on

the one celi with alot of cameo appearance was a thai movie with tony jaa its called "Tom yum goong" where the villain rides a souped up 6th gen on the streets of australia

Eh, was just watching Deep Impact on tv and there was a silver 6th gen celica in the scene when all of the people are panicking from the news about the two asteriods and they are flooding the highways with their cars. It's the scene not long after Elijah Woods takes the dirt bike from his girlfriends house. I'll see if I can somehow get a screenshot of it. This might be a repost of it, but oh well, hated to think that a tidal wave was gonna end that poor celica's life

theres also one in Shawn of the dead. I cant remember whre it is, but its either right after the bus goes by when hes in the flower shop, or when the military trucks goes by. its a dark green or black one. I saw it when i was watchin the movie yesterday.

there are so many sightings in every other movie, but why none in the F&F series, i mean cmon its the best place to have one!!!
btw i hate the acting in the movies, only reason i even watch them is for the cars, which are nothing but body kits and lots of bondo in most cases.

I don't think the producers of f&f consider 6th gen celicas ricer enough.

There is [Fast and the Furious I] - on the roll right before the first race there is an MR2 and right behind it is a 6th Gen but IIRC the headlights from one of the cars makes it hard to make out. You can def tell by the silohuette tho.

Also, in Alvin and the Chipmunks, there's a modded MR2. I saw a Celica in a movie the other day but I don't remember what it was, once I think of it, I'll throw it on here.
