1st - Italy
2nd - France
3rd - Germany


I'm pretty torn as to who will win, these matches have been ok to watch, besides the fact that this year it seems players are more interested in assisting in the handing-out of yellow/red cards to opposing team's players. Frankly, that's a sh***y game to watch, where everyone is on the ground fakin their a$$es off to penalize other players. Makes for a boring game. Hopefully the next two games will be a bit more entertaining. Cheers for taking the time to read my rantings!!

ya, that seems to be the thing in sports now, fake being hurt and penalize the other players, look at basketball this season, it was the year of the floppers. The slightest bump would send the guy flying, and in soccer someone gets a clean tackle, the other guy falls down swearing both his legs are broken, *sigh*....

i agree completely, the stand-out players, i.e. captains and what not dont go and do that kinda stuff, it seems to be the players without as much talent...and the announcers are always like "he wasnt even touched, he just...uh ran outa gas.

My predictions:

France <--will come down to some lucky penalty kick and will win 1-0
Italy
Germany

I predicted Italy, France, Germany last night with my roommate, so I'm good so far.

I don't think France has it in them for another lucky break.
