is this the 18mm bolt or the 14mm bolt? the 18mm one you gotta use a 18mm wrench to hold one end and a socket in the other end.
Look Here
to fix your problem and pm me with any other questions if that doesn't help
the bolt that hold the mount to the strut!!!

Its the bolt right in the middle of the mount, like here

use an impact gun, 3/4" deep socket and maybe some pb blaster...should fly right off
use 2 wrenches, there should be 2 flat spots on the unthreaded part at the top.

i hope that saab pic is an example, you shoud take out the strut and then try to undo the nut

thats why you should wear gloves! a craftsman 6 point chrome socket opened up on me while i was working on suspension, the fender lip became a hand grater. year and a half later and i still have scars, but atleast ive regained feeling in my thumb.

my uncle is a mechanic and he was not wearing gloves when he got a little cut from a rusted screw on his middlefinger. then later got infected and got so bad the dr had to cut if off..

in short, it's always safe to be wearing gloves
