My Celica makes lil boys stop crying - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #39182 29 posts Started by BlackCelicaGT94
I came outside of a store and a lil boy was admiring my car he couldnt have been over 3 years old. Then I opened the door to my car and was about to get in when I saw him fall in the dirt and he started crying but then once I got in it and started to back up and he heard the car and saw it move he instantly stopped crying lol. I love when lil kids love my car. The most sincere compliments are those from kids and those from older know it all guys.

I envy you for that story! I really do-it is so cute!
Up until recently, around my Celi, the only one crying was me, since I was pretty much broke (rims, tires and suspension cost me a whole lot of paper´n´coins smile.gif ), and I couldn´t afford to repaint it the way I wanted to, so I just shed those tears in gallons! smile.gif
But that´s in the past now...I don´t have to cry about that anymore!
Nower days, when the exterior is 99% completed, I have a different problem, which is people slobbering all over my car, touching it, and leaving sweaty and sticky fingerprints all over it (which I always found strange, since I´ve always enjoyed LOOKING at a pretty car)...it annoys me A WHOLE LOT! kindasad.gif
...but what can I do...or as a song by Depeche Mode says clearly; "People are People" wink.gif

LOL
That´s one of the best "sticker-slogans" that I´ve ever heard!
Although I have "T&A (logo)...Powered by Tits and Ass (slogan)" sticker in preparation to put on my bumpers!
My mother drives a Yaris (or Vitz in JDM), and since it´s lowered and a bit styled, its bumper sticker says "PRAISE THE LOWERED"
Mom takes pride in that... laugh.gif

Sorry ´bout OT...

We have a say in my country meaning that you only get the truth from small children and crazy people.
This reminds me of my god son who loves my GT4 since he was 2 years old. He could speak a word and he could bare walk but still he loved my car. The funny thing was that he understood the difference from the similar cars. He could understand the difference between my silver GT4 and my silver Curren. Heck I know plenty of adults that dont.

Yeah I love kids compliments... they say it like it is... I have had several that are like "wow that looks fast" and "I wish I had this car" and one just stood with his mouth open for 2 minutes and then asked if it was a supra.. smile.gif

but my all time favorite was at a local car show/meet, a father and his little son walked by it, and the dad said "you'll never guess what this car is" and the little child says..... "dirty.." lol

~Daniel~ No Longer Celica Owner.. moved on to a 03 WRX-EJ207
A similar scenario happened to me once, only with a young couple; They were walking along, holding hands, stopped, he stared at my car (it was an Audi 80 back then), and said to her something like "Honey do you know what this car is?" ...and she also said "Yup! Dirty as hell!"
Of course, I was very near, so I heard it, and since I´m so mildly mannored, obviously I had an answer; "So is my girlfriend!"

This wouldn´t be much of a joke if it weren´t for the "Honey", who then swiftly turned to her "male Honey" and asked him "See?! So why can´t you be?!?"

I rolled on the floor (litterally) and laughed my *ss off!
"Honey" ruled!

Cuz Thats How Us Country Boyz RollGrowing up racing motocross, i learned one thing..."Always wear clean underwear, you never know when the Paramedics are gonna have to cut your pants off of you"
Whenever I drive around in parking lots I hear kids go "that is the coolest car ever!" and stuff like that my 3 year old nephew also calls it "the race car" and gets all excited when he gets to ride in it.

Yeah i had a guy actually pay me 10 bucks a couple years ago to give his 7 year old son a ride in my car for his birthday. Granted the lil boy also had a crush on me so it was kind of like he got hooked up with a ride in a tight car and a girl he had a crush on..lol! awww..and this was when my car only had the hood and bumper!

lol, all these happy stories, mine's more like last post on page 1
i was pulling out of a parking space and made some kid start to cry...
it was mall parking lot (enclosed) and i guess the noise got to him? lol
Ooh new topic

Whats ur favorite story with your celica and someone complimenting it or something?

One that really sticks out is when i was at Jamba Juice and some lady who had to be like 70 rolled down her window and asked what kind of car I had and I said it was a celica and she said she used to have a celica back in like the 80s or something and how she loved it and she thought mine was beautiful.

i never understood how you can take the 6gc for a supra, well until i for a few days ago saw one on the highway, i was like.. . ooh now what's THIS heading my way, something low and sporty, is ....is is ....nah can it be.... it's a supra biggrin.gif, wtf! no it's a friggin CELICA! woot woot

well a fun compiment i've gotten lately is when i just drive like normal, keepling my distance to the car in front of me and just cruising, the guy in front of me just pulls over to the side of the road to let me pass, after this happended to me four times! on my way to school i had to inspect the car to see if something was wrong but couldnt see anything out of the ordinary

the last guy that did it turned into a small dirt road only to reverse and continue after letting me pass laugh.gif biggrin.gif
