well..title is pretty self explenatory. I found out today that i can order ALOT of engine internals for toyota cars. Like i can get every peice of the valve train except for cams and the actuall head its self. Any ways, i checked and i can get pistons for a 3sgte for like $45 each. will they fit?

to the best of my knowledge they would fit if you got different piston rings for it, since the 3s is a 2.0ltr and the 5s is a 2.2ltr.

ok i take back what i said then. i was just in the mentallity that since people can fit 4agze pistons into a 7age which is .2 ltrs bigger that it could possibly work the same in this situation. sorry for the mistake.

just looked through the cataloge and saw the bore size is alot bigger on the 5s, nvm.

best thing to do is measure the bore anyways....because you will want to hone your sleeves if you are gonna put new pistons in.
I got the BEAMS 3SGE Redtop, im thinking of turboing it, and i will be putting in low compression pistons, and honing to fit the new arias pistons in.....
