My girlfriends friend has a Topaz and I was working on it for her, and I needed some info off the net so I got on some forums. While I was hunting, I found out that a lot of poeple like to moddify those things. I thought that was pretty halarious, because the car was such a piece of crap and so poorly built. But check this guys "Topaz" <- (>>L>>>>I>>>>N>>>>K>> >>T>>>>O>> >>C>>>>O>>>>O>>>>L>> >>T>>>>O>>>>P>>>>A>>>>Z>>) out. With all the potiential our Celica's have, and the freaking Topaz guys are passing us up? I think poeple with money and tools need to pick up the slack around here. Shoot, I can't wate until I pick up some cash to do some real mods. lol, crazy people out there.

EDIT: I editted the title to get people to look at this thing. I think this is something poeple should see.

it's a mercury. it's the mercury version of a ford tempo. my mom used to have one. woot. they are trash.

No kidding. That thing has to be the most poorly engineered piece of crap I've ever worked on. Why anyone would want a 12 cylinder 700hp Topaz or Tempo, is just beyond me. It would make a great sleeper, but such a piece of crap.

Mostly kdis that had this car from their parents, like my roomate's(I swear), LOL

My brother had one...for about a week then the tranny went and it now only goe sin reverse either way the tranny's for that car where so bad that ford stoped making them and they where only suppos eto last about 40k. Me and my friend are putting in a new one for him after he gets the money for the tranny...we told him not to bother, but he likes that topaz ...

Got a descent payrise at work today, so expect some big things for the GT4 soon, but it will certainly take more than I could afford to get it to 700bhp...maybe 400 bhp If I`m lucky...thats my target anyway.....at least the Celicas look way better.
