AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There was even a spider who made a web across the entire dash.

I'm so stupid...I need to find something that will remove those water stains, I DON'T want it to stay like that...does anyone have any recommendation? I'm not so concerned about the water itself cause that will dry out in a flash the next sunny day, its such a heat box...oh and my speakers make that crunching noise too, all too much fun...

armorall should do the trick. but what about that mildew smell? yikes. sorry to hear.
Awwww....man that sucks total @$$...it can happen to the best of us, though. Weather is hard to predict sometimes.....

armorall for the watermarks and maybe Febreeze for the smell? Are the speakers going to be okay after this?

take out the carpet or mildew will grow under it and youll never get the smell out
sorry to hear that.. if that happened to me, i'd be extra meticulous and remove the seats, center console in order to remove the carpet. then wash and dry the subflooring and carpet.

So the car has been running for like a total of 2 hours with the heater to hot, I'm hairdrying the carpet and seats, and put a bakign soda box on console in case.. uh, armor all took out most of the stains so far.

looking good..

I hope all the water gets taken care of.. I did this once but the window was just cracked.. and good thing it was just a short drizzle
i just hope the water that went through the carpet won't stink later on..
btw, the car's looking much better now! good job!

your best bet would be to pull the seats ect out, pull out the carpet, and let them dry like that.
that sucks man...hope nothing shorts out on you!

thats it I'm removing the carpet and seats tonight, still damp

-Rémy02SiR, 08250R
man, that's just rough...but a best bet in any case...I'm sure that you would have regretted it later if mildew did start to grow with the dampness that you can't feel...

damn that **** is hard to dry!!! The isolation is just starting to get "puffy" again, sun is not showing itself..

I'm driving my car with no carpet and only 1 seat lol

-Rémy02SiR, 08250R
lol....well...if it makes you feel any better when I put my seats in to get reupholstered I'll be driving with only one, ugly, unmatching, corolla seat in my car. lol.

welll yesterday was a supper hot day and the carpet and seats has been in sun from 8 to 5. Needless to say its as dry as a corpse in a desert.

And now my interior smells even better than before..whats up with that? lol
