i was wondering if a hatchback spoiler would fit a coupe and vice versa because im looking at spoilers and i see a lot for the hatches but only a few for coupes

i used the search but if i did miss it please point me to where i need to go

Not without modification.

QUOTE(lagos @ Jul 10, 2006 - 1:55 PM) i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.
yeah i was wondering that too, but i found otu that you need to modify the holes and all of that to make it fit. its not a bolt on job.

Is this good enuff 4 ya? :D
are they atleast the same width? i dont have any spoiler right now so id have to drill the holes anyway

I think the curves of the trunks are different..

~Daniel~ No Longer Celica Owner.. moved on to a 03 WRX-EJ207
the HB looks like it has a higher hump in the middle section
could i put on a TRD replica Wing? cause thats what i really want. i think i saw coomer putting one on in his bodywork project but i wasnt sure

You'd need to upgrade your boot strutts too mate if its never had a spoiler on it as they are less stong for the no spoiler boots as they are for the spoilered ones.

The Hatchbacks have the additional brake light above the toyota badge on the bootlid, thats why its higher in the middle than the other one.

Currens have different headlights than our Celicas hence the different name. Japan had both Celica coupes and Currens.

Celica coupes must be a rare Japanese car then. I could import just about any Japanese car I want (within $$$ reason) and I've never seen one.

>>>>>>I am from Hong Kong and also wondering the existing of Celica Coupe in Japan.

As all the Celica in Hong Kong are JDM and RHD, come with Liftback or Hatch only + very few convertible indeed. I never find any coupe in Hong Kong, only one Curren ST206 and convert the Celica Front Clip to make it lookalike.

It's also very hard or unable to find a 2nd hand Celica Coupe in Japan Used car website.
