do i just bang on it till it comes out the back then hammer a new one in there or what?

are the front and rear hubs the same? cause i have a spare rear hub and if it is the same i can just put that on the front instead of replacing a wheel stud at all...

front and back are COMPLETELY different..just take a look at them

the rear is bolted on via 4 bolts and the hub/bearing/spindle assembly comes as a one piece deal from the factory...where as the FRONT the hub/spindle assembly is pressed into the bearing/knuckle assembly...

to remove the wheel stud (they are press ins) get a big hammer and wack it

You have to give it a real POWERFULL smack. At least my rear studs were rusted and it took alot of WD-40 2 days of soaking it in and still alot of powerfull blows before they came loose. You may have to remove the E-brake pads (dont know if you have drums or disks) to give room for the studs to come out.

To put a newone in (I replaced them with longer studs) I used a reversed 20mm socket put it on the stud then place a wheelnut on the stud+socket. Fully spray the back of the splines with WD-40 or Siliconespray and pull the stud into the hub. You may want to use a breaker bar so the wheel is locked and you can use all your power to pull the stud in. I replaced but front and rear studs in 3 days and felt it 3 days after in my lower arms.

where did you get your "longer studs" and how long are they compared to stock

Longer studs came with the Spacer kit from H&R DRS Series. So if you order 20mm spacers, you get 20mm longer studs.
