Okay, Two weeks ago-ish I put my coilovers on. All is gravy and I am happy. Several days go by and all the little noises go away..Except for one that seemed to develop as the days went by. Whenever I turn my wheels (moreso to the left, but does it to the right as well) I get a clunking. I took my dad out on a drive last night to see what he thought, but it wouldn't do it. I had to come to a complete stop and crank the wheel back and forth to get it to pop and clunk.
Here is what I think...
Maybe there is not enough lube on my strut bearings
Maybe a CV joint is on its way out, or a torn boot... I don't see any grease on the firewall and around the engine bay, so I'm not sure of this option.
Soooooo I want to re-grease my strut bearings, but I don't want to take the suspension apart, because that would be a b*tch. Can I drop it out of the strut mount and get to it without taking it apart from the brakes? Or do I have to dismantle everything all over again?
Thoughts and Opinions?

I'm pretty sure a strutch bearing won't make a clunking sound by turning the wheel at a stop. theres nothing to make a clunk, its two flat surface on each other!
Its probably related to the coilover imo. Cause a CV joint wouldnt make that much noise either at a stop.
But I can be wrong.

if you have those ebay coilovers they will clunk, clank, smack, rub like a mofo
also the upper strut mount may be stripped and dry causing that noise...i know that was a problem for me.

Then you start the fund. I'm not going to get rid of them right after I put them on.

This sounds awfully familiar to the time when one of my front calipers was hanging by 1 bolt to the brackets. It Clunked and clanked everytime I turned and went over bumps. It became so worse that when I inspected it, it fell off after 1 turn.
I will be able to get up under there tomorrow and I shall report back my findings.
