they are just stuck on with adhesive. you'll probably have to take a razor to it. i didnt take them off, the body shop did but there was left over adhesive still on the back. and im using regular "Super Heavy Duty" adhesive strips to stick them back on. i dont think it would be hard to re-paint them while theyre on the car though

I would avoid a razor can mess up and get a very nice scrach, use a hair dryer to heat up the tape adhexive then take a flat blade screw driver with the end wrapped in masking tape to pry it jently off.

and to put it back on get some 3m auto body adhesive, it will hold better than anything else as its actualy made for it. and try to rub off any residue left in its place on the car with a safe cleaner or car wash

to take them off....i find the best way is to

heat them up w/ a blow dryer, get soem dental floss, or fishing line, and slide it between the emblem in a sawing motion till it just falls off

then to get the goop off, try using goo-gone, or i found that just rubbing it really hard w/ my thumb works. jsut get it all off and then clean that area well w/ soap and wax and. its pretty simple. i would use the razor or screwdriver thou, casue that might scratch the paint.

****WouldNT*** use the screwdriver

Adhesive peels right off when they are really hot. So blow dryer or just leave it out in the hot hot sun.

fantastic thanks guys..ive been doing some minor mods...so ill post some pics up when i get it looking shharp.
Don't take them off, just spend 30 minutes sitting chilling relaxing chit chatting with your car while you're painting the emblems.
