Thanks jaws i love it. It's the stock 3L2 color. Its just all new paint so its not all DULL.

Does anyone think i should angle my exhaust with the rear lip? or go streight?

It's all a matter of opinion and what you want. Car looks great though. Can't wait to see it with wheels on.

I went straight with mine... i've just never been a fan of angled...

Thanks for the pics. Now that i seen yours i think i like the streight look better with the rear lip.
wow, shiny. can't wait to see the finished product.

ss-iii splitters and 404 skirts areon. which means i need to update my sig.
about flipping time!!!! smile.gif
that looks great!
go or the straight look, in my opinion, angled looks like you ''tried'' to put it on, but your a idiot and you cant get it straight....tahts what i think.....HOWEVER if done jsut rihgtm and on certain cars the angled does look really good.....go straight

OOoo and the other question i have is:

can you even tell that your hood is carbon fiber???like up close and what not

KB
Lookin' good! I'd go angled on the exhaust...that way you can run the piping under the rear suspension.

New Toyota project coming soon...

Yea thats what i was thinking. I have thermal cat back exhaust. But when they fitted my rear lip they had to cut it. And i'm going to be welding the tip back onto my exhaust but i just didn't know if i wanted it angled or not. I do know that when i get my 3s im getting all new exhaust to go under axle but i think i might go streight for right now.

No you can't i painted it the same color of the car. It looks way better then it did when it was c/f IMO i hated the look of my car with c/f i just love the style of the hood thats the biggest reason i got it.
WOW!!! biggrin.gif looks great!! its almost done!! cant wait till you get to drive it home!

Yea i know i can't wait to drive it home. But the only bad thing is, is when i leave that place and drive it home i have no muffler on it right now. He cut it off, and i have to weld it back on when i can get it on a lift. So its gonna look good going down the street. But sound really bad lol.
>>Damn that paint is beautiful! Can't wait to see her put back together! biggrin.gif

Hey man they shoulda wet sanded your whole car and buffed it all. Thats the main thing after a new paint job. Went to look at it today and they were finishing up on buffing it. So hopefully i'll get it tomorrow if not i'll get it Wednesday.
Thanks giang, i love the look of it. i just can't wait to get it back and take a cruise, and have everyone eye my car down. And for the people here in my town that havn't seen my car then they will be wondering what kind of car it is because its totally debadged.

they sand/buff it right away? or wait a few days? would the surface be rough if they don't wetsand/buff? i hv no clue if the guy wet-sanded/buffed my bumper when i had it repainted... but he did wet sand a small part last night cause of some runny paint mark

i thouht ur not supposed to wash ur car for like a week and not wax it for a month after a new paint job?

They painted it on Saterday. Let it sit the rest of the day saterday and sunday then started wet sanding it Monday and buffed it monday. Then waxed it today. Their a professional paint & bodyshop so i figure they are doing the right thing. But o-well it looks really really good.

Is this car ever going to be finished? Everytime i check on it (which is frequent since its such a badass car) its suppose to be ready the next day, and then its not going to be done until the next day and so on. Tell these guys at the shop to hurry up, ive never seen a job take so long.

Looks good though.

my car has taken nearly 4months from the time of quote to now, and i'm still without my car and all it was was a replace of both front fenders and front bodykit and side skirts and respray the bonnet and i'm a repeat customer with this shop and ive been waiting without the car now for 3-4 weeks JACKED OFF to say the least...but mate the paint job looks chilli hot bro cant wait for the finished pix
Well lets hope that today is the day i get my car back smile.gif I'll be taking millions of pictures tonight. and tomorrow. And posting them up tomorrow. (if i get the car) Tonight i have to take it to my friends car dealership to install my exhaust back on since they cut it off. But be prepared everyone wink.gif
Hey everyone was just wanting to let everyone know that i got my car back tonight. Didn't get to put my exhaust back on tho. Which will be done tomorrow, but i will get pics up tomorrow as soon as i take some. Remember to check up on this tomorrow around 2PM.
lucky you. i was supposed to get mine back today too, but the shop said it'll be ready tomorrow (grr, it better). can't wait to see some finished pics. from what i've already seen, i can tell it looks pretty sweet. hopefully i get my car early enough to take pics and enter some for the calendar.
