FINALLY!!!! (A New Hope) [56K may have issues] - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #39797 12 posts Started by axelrduvirage
Finished painting the interior and mounted the emblems and nameplates. Interior pics later this week. The silver paint is actually a satin finish. It disperses light and cuts back on reflections. It was totally unplanned but came out so even and smooth that i kept it as is. Some people who touch it for the first time think it's still wet. laugh.gif Hope you like the pics. It was a lot of work but worth it. Learned so much and had a blast doing all the bodywork myself. Still need to find 1157 dual filament Hyper White bulbs for the turnsignals.

i need all the feedback pos or neg...
Great job Axel! I think it looks really good. Not used to the emblems like that, but I think it goes well with your car. Are the rear badges any different or are they still the same?

it looks nice, but personally, i like it when the car has a nice reflection on it

no emblems on the back except for the centre Toyota Circles painted blue like the one in front. i am thinking of "re-badging" the car ST-204 with a decal on the rear right, just to throw them off. SOMETHING LIKE:

nice, get some matt titanium color rims and then it would come all together!

what brand of paint did you use?

We got it from the really nice guy who wanted to sell us a $500 mask.... wink.gif

It's great paint, and it was a lot of fun working on this car. I didn't get as much hands on time as axel did, but it was still a gas.

Dude, love the car! I love the jerked-back-hand-because-its-still-wet reaction almost everyone has.

Job well DONE!
