Florida Pt. 2, Orlando 9/1-9/2 - 6G Celicas Forums

Well, the first meet was a success, so let's do it again. smile.gif

I need the help of you Orlando babies to help me organize this.

I'd like this to be an all weekend meet. As in, get there Saturday morning, and leave Sunday afternoon. As in.. get a hotel.

So any input would be nice. wink.gif

ALL WEEKEND? Wow I don't know if I gots the time. Probably one of the day. LoL. I would love to stay for the weekend. Hmmm... I'll try to organize some activities for us. Give me some time.

So did we decide on the 19th?? Or should we wait for a later date.. we'd be able to save up money that way

We waited till later. The 19th is my BIRTHDAY!!! Which I don't mind us doing on my b-day anyways cuz I'm not planning on doing anything for my 21st bday.

NO NO NO NO NO PLEEEEASE change the date, im going to vegas (i won a contest at radioshack, I get $5k and a trip to vegas) and theres obviously no way in hell im missing that, but i really want 2 go 2 the meet also.

the 12th? That's too soon lol. I will try. I can't promise anything guys. I was able to come last meet becuz I'm on vacation. I don't know if my manager will approve of me trynig to get a day off after my vacation but I will try!

any day works for me. the sooner the better since i missed out on the first one =) so i prefer 8/26, but like i said, any day works fine.

I agree with Joker, the sooner the better lol. Want to drive up with me Joker? Just pick a date and i'll try and go, most likely yes cause I need to go to one lol.

Well yeah, just make sure we have a set date. It really doesn't matter to me guys. I'll be there anyways or atleast try. Hmmm... things to do.

Okay, the consensus looks like the September date would be better. So I took it upon myself to make it official. smile.gif

Colin has suggested we make it a Friday/Saturday type deal, so we can go to the drag strip Friday night. I think that is a grand idea, what does everyone else think?

I'm down with that! I always wanted to see how fast I ran a quarter mile. Probably high 18s. LoL. But anyways, I hope I get my clutch in by then. Also, how are we going to do this? Ok, Drag Strip friday night. Pool hall again? Or bowling? Probably can't go clubbing becuz most of you'z are underage of 21. I can get you guys in some clubs ViP access but uh.. I don't know if that's what yall wants to do. Then we need a place to crash. There is alot of motels around the Orlando area. Then we have breakfast/lunch somewhere. Then we need to do some fun stuff afterwords... GM studios anyone? I think I can try to get free passes from my cousin.

im down for sept. I guess whoever is comin from south florida we can all drive up together. Are we gonna go to a theme park or somethin? Or just hang out, BBQ, the typical?

Im coming from SoFla. Oh and guys/girls, if we are gonna be heading to a strip can my friend come along with his Golf? We have been wanting to do a 1/4 run just for fun

Yep, we're moving it to a new city each time. I think the next one will be Fort Lauderdale. Then Jacksonville for my going away party.. RIGHT? smile.gif
