Well I got some stock ST foglights and they use H3 bulbs i want to get the yellow ion look like the IS300 has with its yellow fog lights...any ideas?

What brand are those and where those just the ones you got with them ?
Yours are yellowish..i want them almost like a gold color but i think I might have to go HID for that..not sure

why are they rated for 6000k yellow ones should be 3000k and gold ones about 3300k...is that not right?

For the stocked bulb like Snap have = like You will receive = around 4000k = not yellow like 3000k but for sure not white.
I would receommend to choose some 3000-3300k of PIAA
Make sure you swap your new bulbs b4 you do the installation, otherwise just 2x time consuming... >>>>>>
