so...i just got done watching pinks out here in the west coast and damn, what a f'en show man!! that crx and v-dub is crazy yo! and the ending was crazy man!! well, i'm just so hyped up on what happened i just had to post this! so yeah, that was one of the nicest, actually the only beetle i seen thats like that! and that crx was pretty amazing for a stock motor(well, they had full race behind their backs)!

It was one of the first shows in the first season - the second I think actually. The car was a tan street rod from Minnesota. It was his buddies car and he built it. He actually got on TV too - pretty cool.

hmm was that the when FULL RACE showed up with a fake Nitrous set up?

Ive seen a couple pinks episode, not sure if Ive seen that one

I didn't watch it last night but I watched last weeks when the Fox Body Mustang and the Third Gen Firebird were going at it. Final race of the night and the mustang cracks the block in half at about 200-300 feet. THAT was a spectacle.

That was with AMP and Hardcore? Great show.. AMP had them all along. such a misfortune the block split. and the team HARDCORE was so HARDCORE kindasad.gif

"Heads Up, Turbo to Turbo"!

Watched it last night also. That was one good episode. Sucks because the CRX guys told their driver at the last race to hope that the VW car breaks, then he crashes. kindasad.gif Thank god that guy driving the VW was alright at the end.

itsa good show...but if your going to come out and ask for someone to take **** off their car and give you 10 cars you shouldn't be there...arguing stupidly for anything over 3 cars is ghey...they should match cars up better to run real races not starting 1 car 1/2 down the track...

i'll take my bracket racing and a tree and a laser light at the end...not some guy waving his hands and another who thinks they saw the end

Agreed. And I also think there should be a STANDING RULE that the first race is heads up. The thing I can't stand about it is all the negotiation games, throttle games, ect.

I agree also. I hate how they sit and complain about how much faster the other persons car is then theirs. Then why did you come to race? Thats what i asked myself. A race should be heads up at all times. No head starts.

yes i especially love the guys who sandbag.....those are the real racers....FTL

if i'm putting my car up for grabs on a race...there should be acurate timing...and using a christmas tree light with bracket style based on time...just like you would during any other race at the track...putting your car up to someone who guesses and crap...thats just stupid

yesss. i dislike that show for that reason. if you dont think you can win heads up dont race, end of story. even if you win with a head start your car still is not the best of the two because you needed that head start in the first place....blah blah i could complain all day like i do about NASCAR, which is a whole other story, but you get the point... wink.gif

thats all the drama that gives the show a plot and turns it into reality TV and not just a sporting event that you would normally see.

pinks is a freaking sweet show, and im willing to bet a lot more computerized effort goes into the telling of who won than you guys think.. they just want to make it look old school.

if you wanna see bracket racing to go your local track if you wanna see entertaining drag racing then watch pinks
