I ghetto rigged my tail back together, but not in 100% state.....as far as the dent goes....the clear coat has been scratched and the rear passenger panel has a crease on the edge..therefore even if I pull it out the crease is going to be there with chipped paint and rust build-up is likely....

Solution: shaking my head.....trying to piece together my car again and saving money is not worth more pain and money to come because I was stupid and try to fix it myself. So with that in mind I ended up having to go to the autobody shops...

Yes Remy it was quoted $1600 for the car to be fixed....

From my pocket $240 with the help of insurance.....plus any addition fees towards renting a car if over $1000......

In conclusion and I made my decision......I'll show up banged up because people are backing out due to minor dents....come on.....I'm showing up practically with the whole car falling apart....lol...j/k...

But it is not pretty....

BTW.....Will are we still meeting up at Taco Bell say 2:30 - 2:40ish? Anyone is welcome to join us for the cruise down to MOA....otherwise we can make stops in Minneapolis....the only region we'll pass by to MOA.

They way you explain the damage it kinda reminds me of mines only with no tail light damage, I decided not to spend the 1500 to get mines fixed I rather learn, the experience would be better for me too lol and yes the bare metal chip is rusting on my car already only took a week so either get it fixed fast or watch your car slowly rust away...lol j/k

By the way, is anyone interested in a 2.5" magnaflow muffler? It was used for about 3 months before I went to a 3" one. Give me an offer and let me know by 10am tomorrow so I can bring it along.

I hate to continue the chain of mishaps with cars being busted up with stupid mistakes, but I swear I'll kill the next guy/girl that bumps into my car when its in a lot. I went to see the movie 21 tonight and I come out and look at my rear bumper and you can see the fiberglass webbing out after someone pushed into it! Ugh it pisses me off!!! still looks clean tho
I don't think many people who said they were going have been paying attention to the thread, so they might still think it's 4:30 from before!

Unfortunately, I won't be joining you guys. MAP has not finished my exhaust system, and the car is still totally untuned. I worked my ass off the last few months, out in the cold, trying to get it ready for this meet, and I just couldn't make it happen. I would give anything to be able to go, but I guess there will be more meets. For what it's worth, my car will be done sometime next week, and I'll be driving it everywhere.
I'm sorry I won't make it this time, I was looking forward to meeting you guys.
Anyway, hope you all have fun, take lots of pictures.
