How did the conversation go? I avoided a ticket once (60 in a 50) once.. He came up to the window, and said "The speed limit is 50." I looked at him like "yeah, and?" but I said nothing (they record your response and use it against you, so i knew to not admit to speeding). then he asked for my license, saw my record was clear and let me go..
I think on MR2OC there's a thread on how to avoid tix, there's a cop on the forum over there and he helps give us tips on how to avoid getting tickets. One tip he posted was to turn on your interior lights, shut off your engine, and keep your hands on the steering wheel or someplace they could see them. (I did all of those when I avoided my ticket).
