yea i have been thinking of doing the engine swap to my celica but im not sure if my tranny will work. Can any one tell me if my manual trans. off my 1.8 liter 7afe will work on a 3sgte??

cuz i using the 3sge tranny i like to know..i am using the 3sgte fly wheel.. clutch, but can th

Hehehe, the mr2 tranny is FWD. You only need to change the shift linkages on the tranny.
You can use the Alltrac tranny too, just convert that one to FWD. There's a link somewher to do this.
also a e153 from a solara (as previously mentioned). e153 is also the same tranny code as the mr2 turbo tranny. So breakdown.

E153- Solara and mr2* (*shift linkages must be changed)
GT- direct bolt on.
3sge tranny's as well.
3sgte- Converted to FWD use
