Is using a air compressor and a blower nozzle to spin the turbo, still in the car, with the engine off, to "free up the turbo" for more power.


Some guy on a site apparently told him to do so.


No oil + movement = _______

i believe there would still be oil in there, just in time the oil might heat up, and not circulate.

this is just a guess though.

as far as the point of doing this...no clue
i've heard of something like blowing into one to try and tell if it's ball bearing...
