So, yeah, sold my (sexy) heap

IPB Image

and after paying back some debts, I now have 1k left to spend on the Celi biggrin.gif

$300 goes to the 2-way pager alarm system I want (plus installation)

and if my bf doesn't hurry his a** up and do it for me, reupholstering the seats will cost me $400

that leaves another $300. ($700 if I kick my bf hard enough, lol) Dang that goes by fast! I don't wanna buy the new front bumper yet cuz then I have to spray the car and I don't have the money for that...

but anyone wanna suggest how I blow $300? (Maybe $700) Links are nice biggrin.gif

suspension

x2. celicas are made to be nimble and light.

Teh Celica sleeps for Winter '06. Suspension overhaul begins........
got the jdm tails already (lucky me tongue.gif)

hmm...where to start? I've never owned anything where I spent money on suspension...(see above).

I'm gonna go meander around the suspension forum...keep 'em coming smile.gif

eh...maybe...the whole car could use a spray, though, it'd be nice to get it all done at once later down the line...

(I get about 3k from my school every semester in unused scholarship funds ~teehee~ ....see, it totally pays to be a NERD)

Theo Toddman? How old is he? Does he have a family here? If I don't know him I bet $100 that I know someone who does...

One upgrade (small-ish) I might suggest is new clear turns, and some clear sides. Your current clear turns are completely oxidized, and look weird. Also, if I were you I would not just have the front bumper painted -- if you use your paint code, the bumper will not match the rest of the car because of the paint fade over time. As far as painting, save up for a good paint job (for the whole car) that will last.

Oh yeah, thanks biggrin.gif I'll look into those turn signals

Yeah, not painting the bunper by itself, the whole car needs a professional paint job, so I'm saving up to get a new bumper and do all of that one time...
