I would think the alltrac or mr2 turbo, they were built to handle that engine.
90-93 Celica GT/GT-S S53 tranny axles work since more than likely that 2nd gen 3S-GE tranny is a S53.

i thought a 3sge tranny was a s54? i could defenitly be wrong
i know defgeph has this tranny in his 3sgte swapped he's using "jdm 3sge axels" whatever that means
shoot him a PM he might be able to steer you in the right direction

although MR2 axels will not work
1st gen 3S-GE = S52
2nd gen 3S-GE = S52 and S53
3rd and 4th gen 3S-GE = S54

The above is true for Celica's. For MR2's I need to verify.

Couldn't find crap on the UK MR2 forum, so I'll assume that the above is the same for MR2's as well. Although I doubt they ever came with S52's.

LOL nevermind.

The correct answer is, use Celica GT axles matching the year of the car.
