sweet ride, Hey need your help!

I'm going to be picking up a GT4 from mexico later this year, Do the customs agents give you a hassle when you try to cross the border? Like do they ask you certain questions or ask for documentation other then your visa?

Also what do you have to do to register/title a car in mexico? Is it difficult?

mmmm the customs only ask questions like what do you bring from mexico? and were are you going its no so dificult to cross the line except for the freakin time >frown.gif> and my car has plates and papers from california

and if you want to cross your car from mexico and the car has paper and all from the U.S. then I think you don't have to register the car.

good luck

a gt-4 waaaoo >biggrin.gif>

from were are you going to get the car?
if you come near from were I am I help you more man
Thanks for the info, I'm going to Texas in 3 more months for work, While I'm there I'm going to try to import some JDM vehicles to tijuana or some free trade zone in mexico. I called the consulate and they said any temporary vehicle coming off the boat into mexico only need title and registration and mexican auto insurance (need extensive paperwork in US to get car past customs, temporary or permanent). So I'm going to preRegister the cars in the US, take the paperwork down to mexico, and drive the cars across the border into the US. Ya, If Everything Goes according plan, I see if I can stop by. >biggrin.gif>
