V1 Description

Radar circuitry known in-house as V1.7 gives high performance on all radar bands. Also,it remembers your “mode” setting when shut off. Has stack of four LEDs on front panel for band identification. Front and rear laser.

Upgrade Recommendation:
While this version is not quite up to today’s V1 standard for Ka, it’s almost always good enough,
and always better than detectors from other makers. X and K performance is excellent.
Upgrading merely to improve radar performance is not cost effective, in my opinion,
unless you’re concerned about the POP Mode operating in your area. Upgrading
does bring other benefits, including our latest laser warning (front and rear), which outperforms the competitors by a wide margin, and POP Protection. Also, you'll get the new Euro Mode.

Whats the software version?

I'm interested.

it has the version 1.7 software. it has 4 stacks of LED's displaying Ka band, K band, X band, and Laser. it remembers your mode and it has front and rear laser detection. it's up to date performance wise. it states in the upgrade recommendation that upgrading it to the version 1.8 software isnt critical with performance. its only good if you want the pop2 band and also the Euro mode which isnt used here obviously in the US. ill be posting the serial number monday night when i get home. its really the best radar detector ive ever had. i want to keep it but i may need money down the road for books for college this fall. anyone else interested? send me your offers and please dont lowball. you guys already know how much these go for..

very true. same here as well. for the people in new jersey that may be interested in this radar detector you SHOULD go with a Valentine One Radar Detector cause laser guns are all theyre using now on the Garden State Parkway. I've tried Cobra, Escort, BELtronics, and others and they don't compare. today when i headed to pimped6gen's place to get the body kit it detected every state trooper's laser gun and gave me alot of time to slow down when it caught radar being used. id hate to see it go but if im gonna need money what can i do?

you can mount it on your visor with the visor clip.. gives you advanced warning when it comes to radar.. if radar is what they use in the areas you drive in.. if they use laser often.. id mount it with the suction cup on your windshield as low as possible.. thats where i have it mounted everytime i drive on the highways here in NJ cause thats what theyre using now and it catches it everyyy single time.. if you buy this you wont be disappointed.. plus $320 shipped is a really good price.. these things go for $400+

nah when i got it the person didnt give me anything but the valentine one radar detector, the coiled power cord, the visor mount, and the windshield mount. you can purchase it through valentine1's website for around $50 i believe.

blah...the concealed controls are badass...but not $50 bad ass. when ur paying like $400 u should get those with it.

when your paying 400 dollars it should come with a crooked cop. No im kidding, ive seen these things in my friends (rich friends) cars, they'r flawless...and down here in texas, a radar detector is a must.
