yeah today i went and bought my 94 celica gt. anyways heres the story. i called yesterday for a celica on carsoup and there was a 17 yr old kid who already down payment on it. he didn't have money so he went to talk to his parents about financing. well the guy called me back today saying the kid didn't come up with the money so i had dibs on it unless i didn't want it. well i first thing i did was dropped everything and went all the way to st cloud from minneapolis to look at it. well no rust at all except on doors but should be no biggie cause im getting new doors. it's black with tan/black combo leather interior. car is identical to my 99 celica gt! except for the fact that it had 2 extra speakers? never seen that. anyways i bought it for 2K. he was asking for 3K but got it all the way down. doesnt leak oil or anything at all. my plan is to buy a few things after i sell my mr2 turbo. i also have a potential buyer for my mr2 turbo tomorrow so ill let yall know. right now i just put on some european taillights and clear idicators.
here's my plan:

1. JDM taillights for both celicas.
2. drop both celicas (thinking 1.5"-2").
3. clean the gt rims and paint them black.
4. put my old riser blocks on the 94 celica gt.
5. etc.

anyways im very happy about my decision. i just couldn't stand the mr2 turbo. it's fast but im just a celica guy. you must be wondering why im so happy...i have a 99 celica gt already?..well the 94 is 5spd and it's 94-95 model where i can put on riser blocks and do stuff with it. it drives very quiet with only 119K miles. very smoothe. love it! ill wash her up and put up pictures. thanks all

Is it really rare? I have the premium setup as well.

it came as an option.. but i'm guessing 3/10 GTs have it.

Congrats, man! I've got a 94 GT with premium sound, too...but mine doesn't sound like it's in as great condition as yours. Pics!!!

im guessing your gonna come to the next meet? so far it sounds like its gonna be the 23rd

im thinking about coming if i have insurance by then. doesnt sound too bad..its got an aftermarket cd player so i haven't crank it up yet...country baby!

where are the two extra speakers at ?

in the door handles, just under the tweeters. i think its 6.5" but i might be wrong

premium has awesome voice, if you want thump you gotta get it yourself, but I was highly satisfied with just the factory speakers with the premium system when that was all I had

i actually got to crank it up today and it sounded good. love it. but yeah right now im having problems uploading pictures...be patient guys!

yup...wasnt feeling it. i've been driving celicas for the past 4 years and i just bought my mr2 turbo for a couple months..now its sold. love the power of 3sgte but 2 seater i just can't take it when i go somewhere with my brothers i have to take 2-3 cars. btw my family is real BIG!

yeah the rims i dont care. im going to paint the stock rims, get new tires, drop the car, get jdm taillights, all that goody before the meet...thanks guys..
