I hear you can remove the lines in your headlights...is this possible? If so, does anyone know how to do it and could possibly tell me!?

what do you mean?

i think he wants to make a clear lense.
i think he means having the lenses polished smooth...

and the answer, to my knowledge is yes...that it can be done...but it's not cheap and requires that you remove the lenses from your lights.

dustin15brown has polished highs...they look great, but he'd be the one to tell you how to get it done....and how much you can expect to pay.

do you know who i am, mr. worley?
expect to pay a few hundred if you can find someone to do it...its glass which has to be sand blasted i do believe and its very hard to convince a shop to do it to DOT glass...but good luck smile.gif
I guess the hard part is having the apparatus to do it. The front side has to be cooled with water while being sand blasted.

Whole glass has to be in water while beeing sanded - or else it will crach just in seconds..

After this special polishing disk has to be uses along with special green polishing paste and bla bla bla..

Dustin lenses where polished here in Lithuania, and his set was the last that the shop did. They said either we will charge inormal money, or we wount do this anymore...

how about removing the frosted lenses and replacing them with plexiglass?

ss-iii splitters and 404 skirts areon. which means i need to update my sig.
in order for that to happen, someone must make a mold for the lights lense.... it wil not be cost effective... I found a place in New York a while back to do them.... $300 ish just for the lows...
i've seen ths mod done on a camry.. it was easier on it because it had plastic lenses instead of glass like ours. there was a how-to posted on the net somewhere..

that's still cheaper than removing the lines from the stock lenses right.

pd. If anyone can translate this please... my english is so bad!! excuse me guys frown.gif

you're saying that the lines serve a function, which is to spread the light in the correct pattern to properly illuminate the road, and removing them can make the ligthing pattern poor.

my spanish is a little rusty.

sorry i meant that i found a place to remove the lines... not make a plastic lense or w/e
and yes... it will screw up your beam pattern... it will not spread out like it should... It's ok in my case because I have a projector and HID's smile.gif
