My baby turned over 150k on the way home from school this mornin! I present to you the milestone Odometer pic (ignore the crappy painting - it came that way on the car)


Then when i went out to get a bite to eat in town to night - my baby played a little practical joke on me!! I pulled off into the gym parking lot to talk to 1 of my friends that was inside, cut the car off, locked my doors and went inside - came back out within 10 mins....unlocked my door, hopped in, turned the key - preceded to hear CLICK and all my dashlights faded off...... took nearly an hour to get my dad out town w/ sum cables, after trying to push the car off to no avail.... but it started right up on the cables - we're assuming the battery cell went bad ... i think she was celebrating her 150k mile anniversary too! w/ a little practical joking

Here she is - safe back in her little hole after a night of crazyness

now for her gift, buy your baby a new battery.

i missed my 150 mark...by 10 miles

im waiting for 175 now

little update.... bought the car an Optima Red-top deep cycle battery 2day
maybe now she wont die on me for a while

awww ur still a baby compared to some of us!

140,000 miles in 4 years and starting to show. :-( getting a new 5sfe in the next couple months and a rebuild!

220,000 total miles on the car.

And Nat, your right about the bath thing! maybe even a coat of wax.... but even then she wont compare to your baby

got 228,xxx on mine with stock everything but the clutch and teh timing belt, everything else is stock and she's still going strong!
