hey guys,

I'm looking to get 17x8 inch wheels. I have a choice of two offsets, +32 or +48. I'm not to good with wheel offsets, so I need some advice.

Would the +32 fit ? Or should I choose the +48 I really dont want to run a spacer. But I want to be as flush as possible.

I'm going to mount 225/45/17's on the rims.

I need to know if this will fit properly on my car

This will make the rim almost flush with the side of the body. These offsets and offset/spacer combos will prevent the "sucked in look" that the factory wheels have.

The rim will sit just behind the fender. In order for the rims to tuck into the fender well on lowered cars the the rim must sit back into the wheel well by 11mm compared to the standard ride height offset recommendations.

* Clearance issues prevent the use of most rims with offsets lower than 30mm. The spacer will actually lower the offset and at the same time move the rim away from the offending components.
* 8.5" rims may or may not fit on lowered cars.

Offsets shown are positive.

Offset is measured from the wheels center line to the mounting surface.

It would fit but, depending on your drop and the width of your tire (i.e. overhang), you may very well have to roll your rear fenders. The fronts will be NO PROBLEM!

I like the stance, almost completely flush. Could be a little lower though. I don't rub at all either.

It's amazing how much more aggressive and sporty the car looks with the right combination of wheel/tire size and offset. Pictures definately don't do justice!

Drifter, your profile says 1.5 drop, did you get a new drop height? Your 1.75 is a lot higher than my same drop height, just wondering.

Either way, the pics are deceiving, I'll try to get some better one's. it looks pretty low from all around the car. I can just barely fit two fingers in between the fender and top of the front tire.

Super White II, I believe. Where did you get your front splitters? They go very well with the stock sideskirts.

I had 17x8 +35 rims with 225/45 on them.When I turned the wheels they rubbed.Did anyone have this kind of problem.Now I wonder if I should buy 215?

I had this problem with 16X8 +35 wheels. I had 225/55R-16's on them. 215 might work, but I wasn't going to fork out the 550 bucks Les Schwab wanted for tires.

17x8 +32 would be perfect...235/40 or 225/40 would be best...you could run a 215/45 also..... 225/45 is alittle tall and like people said will probably rub the inside front fender liner on a maxed out turn.
