c-one turns - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #41681 38 posts Started by Griff
i just bought a US C-ONE front bumper, and i was trying to see if the turns on my 96 bumper would fit the c-one hole? if not, what turns do i need?
thanks
im also curious, im going to be getting a c-one.

94' ST Coupe - 5sfe Motor swap and brake swap.
If its the real C-ONE my guess would be the GT-4 Turns. But since its the US version maybe just a set of 5th gen turns. Thats what i put in mine.
if i asked the body shop to put my turns in....maybe with a little shapping of the kit, they would fit right? anyone else that got a c-one have any advice?
thanks
whered you guys order your bumper from....i might grab that next spring! but i have no clue where to get it
If you want the replica contact boosted. Or you can just go through VIS.
how much is it from him
Well i bought the front, 404 sides, and 404 rear lip, and the zyclone cf hood. So i don't know how much just the front bumper is.
ahhh sweet! i was lookin to get the cone front and the 404 sides and rear too!
so how much did you get it for if you dont mind me asking!....

any pics of your ride...

oh yea sorry for the hijackin
Yea look on the thread right below this that says PICS PICS PICS. I have pics of my progress. It's not finished yet. I also bought the cf zyclone hood so i spent about $1,100 for everything.
dammm...alright ill check it out
Im pretty sure that the C-one style front bumper that you got uses the 96+ turn signals. Becuase C-one makes 2 different bumpers like that. 1 for the GT4 and 1 for all the FWD models. The one for the GT4 will use GT4 turns, and the one for the FWD models use the 96+ turns.
Yea now to think about it Maskedman is correct.

stock 96+ don't fit.. chanh had to custom fit them when he did his.. the 96+ are too long and narrow (i think)

98 Celica GT -- 5S-FTE: 230WHP 237FT-LBS06 Civic EXMy For Sale Thread
can i do that myself? or should i tell the shop to do it?
Markie did it himself. =)
But didn't you say that you are getting the genuine c-one front bumper for your celica? If so it should fit fine. He's not getting the zyclone knock off.
Funny how I'm doing my car's exterior almost exactly like Chanh55's celica except it'll be in red.
no, i got the US, VIS version, and i put the turns up to it yesterday and it wasnt an exact fit...so i need to do somthing.
exsane haha me too. O-well griff i didn't know you were getting vis one. Yea it wouldn't be to hard to fit them in there.
yea mine don't fit perfect either. it holding by a washer and screwe thas not even drill in the bumper.

I dont have the money for the entire body kit and really didnt want to spend it, but I really want to cahnge teh front of my 94 ST... If it would look really funny i wont do it, i was just hoping

You should of seen a local guy that bought that bumper. He told me that it was made for a 94-01 integra or something. It was that bad.

Let me know if I can help.
so the bumper didnt match up well. frown.gif OH NOES. This cant be good. I was hoping to get just a bumper with little or no body work. Maybe I should do the entire body kit. I was thinking about getting a new hood, although i have no idea where to start looking for one of those.
does nobody look on ebay? they have some stuff worth buyin on there including hoods, kits, and even fenders. im buying my c-one front from boosted as well. im buying a full kit, so im not sure how much for just the front. but i know that on ebay they are selling the front with some ugly side skirts and an ugly rear for pretty damn cheap. i think the price for the entire kit on ebay (c-one front, ugly sides and rear) after shipping, is the same price as a c-one front from boosted. also i need to know what to do with the turn signals as well. how many people have the c-one front? i know there are a few, so they should know what to do.

you get what you pay for.. I wouldn't advise anyone to get a kit from Ebay unless is a seller that I have experience with.
