Nonetheless, My costume for halloween took over 100hours of work, fiberglassing and mold work. Costume castle sucks!
Wire frame + Fiberglass work = MASTER CHIEF FOR THE WIN!
I mean you walk into a party and your THE halo guy, thats pwnage.

Um ive never been naked around you, nor do I ever want to. But nice try ?

And I didnt buy a costume, I made it as i previously stated. If you read the entire thing you will see that, Like tina made hers i made mine. Read the top of the page? TUTORIAL. You can do the SAME? Mines not fully done, the gloves got damaged during painting and the boots cracked for who knows why. The only difference im trying to do, is renforce the back so I can add a battery pack to extend a wire to the helmet to add some PC fans. Right now the chest / arms / head heat up to bad, I couldnt wear it for more than an hour without sweating excessivly.

I read just fine thank you, she did the stiching and in my mind, thats still making a costume if your altering it.

I dont post picts of things im not proud of, as of right now I dont think this costume will make it for halloween. As far as posting picts, when I go to work ill take some, unlike you I dont feel a need to post every pict of everything I do. I tried to take this back on topic, guess there are only so many mature people on this site before you run into the little ones.

What were the most common costumes this year? I saw over a dozen "v for vendettas" and like 2 dozen "sexy bee's" for some dumb reason. Ive said it once ill say it agian, Halloween is a time where the skankiest of the skanks can act normal and not be ridiculed, well....most. HAHA

Thanks, im reallllly not happy the way the paint is coming out, but I went from the padded stuff the tutorial said to using a wireframe so I could lay some ABS plastic / Fiberglass so I could powdercoat a candy forest green to give it the same look. If it doesnt make it this year, next year should be SIIIICK. I still need to drill in 4 holes for LED's for the head so I can light me way, the costume isnt to heavy and since its not a full costume it still breathes but when sitting still its INSANELY hot. Ill definatly post picts when im done.

well I just wanted to see pics of yours since I've seen really good ones, like the ones you posted pics of, and if you put that much work into it then it should be really nice.

I have a friend who wanted to buy one of those helmets, I believe they're pretty expensive. although I didn't think price would matter much since he bought 2 of those FX lightsabers, the ones that connect, for like $110 each

the reason is lack of mass production, unless you enjoy wearing foam and pretending you look good. I used to model bodykits so im used to laying ABS.
the helmets for sale are 90-180, i mean gloves are 70-110. Id rather get some plaster and do that.

Ask your g/f while she edits hers, I edited mine because like most people I always forget something important and have to add it in the end. Second, yes thats me in my costume a friend helped me make one as he had one VERY simliar to it to begin with, and enlighten me, what "forum" do you know me from in which I shared my name with you willingly. Or are you going to keep it a big ol secret "bucky", I wouldnt waste board space on you. Isnt that for you to plaster sex videos with?
