Who else is watching baseball?

top of the 7th, 7-4 Yankees, the pitching is looking a little iffy from us right now. Still a good lead. Sometimes i hate Proctor.

im Red Sox fan and I always have been, but the Damn Yankees are nasty this year. They will more than likely win it all. Although I would like to see the Twins win it again. thumbsup.gif

we lost because A-rod is a usless pile of crap.

regardless i had kick ass seats and my boyfriend and i took my 84 year old grandma who is a crazy yankee fan. It was worth it to go to game and watch her. At the end of the 9th inning she stood up, threw her peanuts and yelled A ROD YOU SUCK. That right there was worth it. Hilarious. My family has issues.

man oh man the tiger's pitcher was on FIREEEEEEEEEE yesterday.

I give you tigers serious credit.

Right now i am ashamed to be a yankee fan, i hate them right now.

I'm going to watch the game at this awesome resturant, beer and hot wings FTW.

omg, tigers.

the last time they won i didn't even exist.

my whole life coming up downriver, i was pretty much convinced they sucked--and they would continue to.

never in my wildest dreams would i have pictured myself having the time of my life in a bar with my good buddies, watching the tigers knock the yankees out of the world series.

eat 'em up, tigers....that's all i have to say!

edit: and holy $hit did UofM SMOKE state today!

I have to say i am so dissapointed in the Yankees. Honestly the problem is that the Yankees have become a bunch of overpaid superstars that dont have any ****ing heart in this game anymore. Give me back the days of Tino Martinez and Paul O'neil.
Joe Torre is a goddamn bum. They need to fire him and get someone else in there. He's not paying attention anymore and making sloppy calls. He's DONE. As far as the team goes I hope this was A-rods last year in pinstripes. He's a disgrace to this team. IMHO the only people that should stay on that team are Matsui, Jeter, Cano, Moose, maybe melky
It's ridiculous that we have pitchers like 41 year old Randy Johnson because hes a legend and he sells tickets. Can he pitch anymore? no. He needs to get out of there as well. This whole damn team needs to be made over. Where are my 2000 Yankees.

so i say congrats tigers, that team plays with heart and that's how this goddamn game is supposed to be played.
to my yankees **** you, **** your overpaid strikeout players, **** your 8 dollar beers and 5 dollar hotdogs, **** your coaches.

Its funny, when the yankees win, you all love them. But if they dont make it past the first round, you talk like "Joe Torre is a bum" and they are a "bunch of overpaid superstars." But if you win it'll all be "joe torre is god" and I love these players.

Gotta love how you only love a team when they win. Yay Yanks fans.

thats how ALL fans are...doesnt matter whether u like the Yankees, Giants, Jets, Knicks, Nets, Red Bulls, or whatever. Thats not JUST yankee fans. When ur team plays well, then of course ur coach/managers a god, but when they're losing, u have to blame somebody.

p.s. baseball is such a lame sport. lol

I love my team no matter what. I'm dissapointed that's all. I'm not proud of the 2006 yankee team. The reality is our team needs to make some major changes. Like i said before the tigers played with heart, they came from loosing to beating the #1 team in the AL easily. We have no pitching. Look at the guys they traded away and how they are doing now, pitching wise.
Don't quote me on things i never said. I never said Joe Torre is god. I think he should have retired a few years ago. Yes they've won with him in the past but not reciently and it's time for a change. He used to make good calls but he's gotten sloppy.
