funny you should say... i took mine apart and managed to fix it. lol
you can test your afm with a multimeter to see if its working correctly. there is a test in the bgb for it.
I'm not sure if you still need it - but I think I have one in my attic. Let me know what the part number is off of it so I can make sure it is the right one (from the right engine/gen/etc...)
