Everytime I take a sharp turn the brake light on my dash comes on for a few seconds. What are the possible causes for this? I recently replaced my brake pads so could it simply be brake fluid? I think it might have something to do with the emergency brake. Any ideas or suggestions?

I checked the brake fluid level...It doesn't seem to be low, it is a little above the minimum level. What else could it be?
top it off and see if that helps. you shouldn't keep your fluids at the lowest acceptable level anyways

in US cars isnt the "brake" light on the dash for the e-brake? in canada the light is a "(!)" light when the e-brake is applied. if it is the same light as the one i am thinking about, then it could be bad ground.

They use the same warning light

This happened to me a couple of times before and it turned out that one of the hose lines where not properly connected going to the brake booster. Check your brake vaccum pipings
