Hello,

So I had a very Celica Monday....


First Ran into 95celicaST by chance in tukwilla when I randomly pulled off I-5 to get gas, he drove by the off ramp and I chased him down for a few words and pics shown below.




Then (after i got gas) I drove the rest of the way to my girlfriends house and her friend was over with her 94 GT so I took some pics. (shes not a member)





also just a few days ago I hit this big marker

kinda sad that I probalby wont see it rool over to 170:) but its been a good 40k.(for thoes who dont know my car is for sale or to be traided into a dealer soon.)

after all this I even got to see Orvalcelica on the way to work this morning (he was going the other way so it was just a drive by, but non the less another encounter)

anyway was cool, I wana go to one last big meet with my celica before it goes and I shift to a new motorsports forum.



edit, well it went on the way home today out of know were I got engine knock from the 3rd or 4th chamber, bairly made it to my regular shop with it dieing every so often, always started back up and putted along but has no power and is louder then i can describe, shop says there gana look at it and give me a price, maybe have it fixed then trade it in, or part it compleatly out idk even could keep it throw a nother 5sfe in it myself to learn and just for fun, either way my planes have changed dramaticly and I may be buying the new car much sunner then I though.

I didn't see any other Celicas that day though, so I suppose your day was better.

When you get ready to take that plunge into the other motorsport generation, let me know. I want stuff!

EDIT: oh yes, and I anticipate that set of license plate holders

Trading your Celica into a dealer with all those mods? Say it ain't so.

man... I've only ever seen one other modded celica (as in, more than just rims or a ricy muffler) and it was a 5th gen. I pulled along side him, and kept checking out his car. (full bodykits, rims, cf hood, a few too many stickers if you ask me, but it was aight) he saw me, and gave me a smile and a nod. then turned off the street a couple blocks later. yeah. and apparently there are supposed to be 10-12 other members of here within 50 miles of me... you'd think I'd see one at least once!

yep, well so heres the deal, I can sell to a private buyer and buy a one from the dealer at full price or, I can trade it in (looking for 5-6k if I'm lucky) and get that much off a new one and only have to pay tax on the diffarance (so I would be saving myself that taxable 5k and not have to worry about the new owner of my car as my car is not in perfect shape. it needs love (dont want to be liable for anything that goes wrong later, a dealer would take it and I would not be liable for anything.)

I am selling parts off of it that I feel a dealer would not consider, many things already have a prospective buyer (hood, suspention parts, premium sound door panels, etc.) only problem is that if someone wants something that is installed on my car (not sitting in my garage, yeah I have a lot of parts.) it needs to be replaced with stock parts I dont want to trade it in missing parts.

some thing still avalible

7th gen seats with custom sliders (need replacment seats if sold)
leather rear seats
jdm power folding mirrors
clear turn signals and side markers
my carbon fiber center console cover (need stock cover replacment)
Doggys custom fiberglas guage cover (painted matching teal, need stock cover replacment)
my custom fiberglass shaved glove box peace (not the one with the dinn, but a clean shaven one that fills the whole lower dash peace from the door to the center console, uses stock mounting points/snaps.
Excel E-2 17" wheels no scratches with like new toyo Praxie tires
custom CAI with AEM bypass, made to fit though stock fender hole)
black or light grey headliner (only one avalible, need to keep 1 of em for use but the other can go)

I got mine off ebay for $400, its a genuine VIS though with the under side structure, not a cheapo.

also my parts are not up for sale yet I just posted a list so people can call dibs on things when i sell em, I may still be just swapping the motor and keeping it as a 2nd car I really have no idea whats gana happen.
