you could put some clear silicon in all the gaps and dynamat on the inner trunk wall...
I've already put sound deadener all over the trunk and that didn't fix it. It's just coming from that one plastic piece on the outside.

You have to remove tail lights first. There are 3 screws each tail light from inside. Take those off and everything else is easy. Couple screws and just pop the licence piece out. Off course remove the licence plate first.... Hope it helps
Thank you very much, I'll try that today when I get a chance.

what i did, was bought some foam, and glued it to the plate, (it'd come off trust me) That way its atleast not hitting metal on metal, why you trying to decrease vibrations? trying to raise SPL for subs? e.Dead is supposed to be amazing for that if you are
Oh trust me, it's not the actual license plate (I have 3 layers of sound deadening on that

), it's that plastic piece around it. I'm mostly doing it for SQ/SPL, I already have most of my car matted up.

Dynamat your car, trust me it will improve the sound of your speakers. The main parts you want to put the sound deadener are in the trunk and in your door panels. Since you probably won't get rid of all the rattle on the first application, I would suggest you order a little extra just in case.
