You're from NS? Where abouts? That looks like a sweet BMW there man, good luck on sellin your Celica.

Mind you, Id love to buy it but i dont got the money
I've always liked that body style of the 5, but arent running costs on those on the high side? Regardless, I think you have very nice taste smile.gif

i knew a friend that sold his 92 mr2 turbo for one of those. Gl selling our celi or keep it as a collection.

the only E39 I'd leave my Celica for is the M5...but I'd still prefer an E36 M3 LTW biggrin.gif thats my opinion.

but looks good, how many miles?

So you're going from a 2 door sporty car with awesome reliabilty, to an ugly sedan with really expensive maintenance/parts? Whatever floats your boat I guess.

not what i would call a dream car but good luck w/ it.
keep the celi

How many miles? How much is that cost in USD? They are great cars, I have driven one, handles good for it's size, but not as good as a Celica. Acceleration is faster than 6.6 0-60, and it has nice options, like a heated steering wheel, 4-spd sport mode (holds the revs longer in each gear which makes for a very sporty drive), power everything including every motion of the steering wheel, and more.

i think $7,500 cdn is a great price for a mint 99 GT, at least here in Canada where celis go for upto 10k and sometimes more.
i'm sure you'll find a buyer for your GT.

w00t w00t BMW 5 series smile.gif. I hope you get your dream car, and if you do, you should go to bimmerforums.com biggrin.gif. hehehe. Parts for BMW are stupid pricey though haha, i need new brake pads and they are $100 for an OEM set frown.gif. The BMW is stealing money from my celicas frown.gif.
never been too fond about bmw's, but hey man if that's what you want i'd say go for it smile.gif

I agree that it isn't much of a dream car, but a really nice car nonetheless. I'd buy one if I could. My dream car is a Dodge Viper or a Corvette biggrin.gif

136 000 KMs so ...82 000 miles

Sorry, but I would never give up Celica for BMW. Mainly due to the fact that in my homeland they are driven by either rich assholes or "try to be" gangstas. Also, I just don't like the looks of BMW.

But anyway, you make your moves, right?

Thanks to those who encouraged me and respected my views and tastes. To the rest of you..you can all take a long walk off a short pier...phoque you!!!

I really should have called it a dreamy car rather than my dream car...still hope to win the lottery and buy a REAL car !!!

As far as performance it is a ROCKET, it has a "sport" program when you lock out 5th or even 4th gear and with traction control off it even squaks the tires jumping from 1st to 2nd (i know it scared the crap outta me!!!)...what a waste of gas though wink.gif . all the creature comforts a man in his mid-life crisis would ever need although the sound system is lame-ass weak (do i hear jingle bells?)

I will miss the celica, it was/is a very spirited ride and if things were a bit different i would hang on to it and swap the engine (TurboDreams) drop in a 5 speed and mod the crap out of it (tastefully though, have to respect the Dragon ).

The community here is very giving i have learned not only a lot about a very special car but also a few things about myself. I hope your dreams are fulfilled. drive safe, continue to respect each other and learn to say these few words that can change someone's life when spoken with truth and honesty: i love you.

Amour, Paix et Soleil

PS i may troll and lurk occasionally but don't look for me on any BMW forums...they're just for "rich arseholes and wannabe ganstas"

Seriously though. I wish I had 7500 for your car. For the love of god. lol
Totaled my celica reciently and I am also toying with the idea of buying a BMW 325i. I just cant make up my mind if I want another celica. I loved my celica. But is it time to move on? I'm really torn. But if I buy another I'm deffinatly the celica guy for life. I know later on in life like 30 years from now I'll see a 94 celica and be like god I love that car. And my kids will be like god that car is old and theyll make fun of me just as I did to my father. I guess I understand now. I'm gonna call him and apoligise now cause I understand lol.
I like the later years where they first experiment angel eyes in this car.

Congrats on the purchase! And angel eyes and LED taillights are a simple "facelift" away. They bolt right in on any E39 car.
