Combat Body Kit - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #42313 24 posts Started by m0dd3d1
I've got a white celica, GT, hatch, and I was wondering if anyone has any pics of the Combat body kits on their celicas? I've only been able to find off-center pics of just the front bumper. Thanks in advance!

Dude, that's sick! Thanks. It's almost Supra-esque IMO. Much appreciated!

Best kit Ive ever seen for our cars and I am totally anti body kit. JDM kits are the only way I'd go but this one looks clean.

I paid 325 for my combat front from versus motorsport. But the fitment was horrible. If i had a chance to get it again I would prolly get it from andy's autosport.
thats why, all combat kits fit horribly from what i remember, and thats why not many people have it

For some reason this pic looks like an integra to me.

BUT.. it still looks amazing. Props
Guys, i hate to be the bringer of bad news but theres a reason why not many people on this site has this kit. Basically its the biggest pain in the a** to make fit and flush with the body. Tim (k2) bought this kit awhile back and said NOTHING lined with anything...didnt fit around the headlights, problems with the crashbar, around the hood and by the fenders. if ur gonna get this kit, be prepared to fork over decent amt of money to get it flush with the car. Tim ended up sellin his kit because he didnt wanna bother with it. Some people may have had better experiences with it, but the majority of people i know of have had serious problems with it.

I usually have no test for aftermarket bumpers, but that looks good.

wow..... i only paid $150 for mine and the vader skirts was $125.
I picked it up strait from Versus Motorsports Warehouse in Compton, CA.

wouldnt pay that much on peices that i would have to modify to fit.

Well that sucks! I may have to buy it still just b/c I would really want that on my car! I still think it's sexy, but it would suck to pay extra for fitting it somewhere.

....so if its no good from andy's....then any reccomendations on where to buy it from???

KB
ok let me at least say this....where you get it from really isn't going to make a difference...this kit is no different then ANY other kit out there for any car...to a certain degree you need to trim and sand and heat gun stuff here and there....this kit is VERY fitable...it just takes a knowledged person and some time to get it right...(just like any other kit)

so don't let that discourage you....if your willing to either A) spend the time yourself or B) pay a few hundred more for a body shop to do it for you...
I have this kit if you guys want it let me know =)
